As a certified LGBTQ advertising agency in Florida, we were thrilled to initiate discussions with Equality Florida about a potential creative partnership. Being the largest LGBTQ lobbyist group in the state, their daily efforts to champion positive change for the queer community directly align with our brand’s mission. When coming to BKN, their main goal was to revamp their brand image. Looking to creating a fun and modern image that shows the true diversity of the greater community, we were eager to start. Our partnership has expanded to encompass print collateral, digital branding, event promotion, animation, and beyond.

Branding

When launching a new campaign to enhance your brand, it’s crucial to start with clear objectives. In our collaboration with Equality Florida, their aim was to celebrate the diverse population of the state. We devised a strategy to represent various people using a mix of vector illustrations and real photos. Through a systematic approach to stylizing vectors, defining skin tone color codes, and highlighting diversity, we achieved a unified visual identity. We leveraged their Building a Better Florida brochure as a foundation and extended the branding across different print and digital marketing materials.

To enhance our partnership, we recognized that updating their hype video was essential. It was clear that we needed to weave their fresh identity seamlessly into the project. After hard work and persistence in securing a major artist’s song, we were overjoyed when Sara Bareilles graciously gifted her powerful anthem “Brave” to the organization. This collaboration not only elevates the piece but also resonates deeply, making it truly unforgettable!
